A study came out today comparing 342 U.S. cities in regard to the typical price you’ll pay for a 4 bedroom, 2 and a half bathroom home that averages about 2,200 square feet in a middle class neighborhood with a two car garage.

2. Killeen, TX - $140,310
3. Arlington, TX - $140,975

The top three…

1. Beverly Hills, CA - $1,800,000
2. Santa Monica, CA - $1,766,666
3. La Jolla, CA - $1,762,500

You had to go all the way down to #8 (Greenwich, CT) before you found a city outside of California. In fact, 15 of the top 20 cities on this list are in California.
